GROUP TWO- Deacons John and Frances Pullen, Deacon Jan Owens-Lane, and Ministers Linwood & Rev. Dr. Sheryl Barnes, Spiritual Advisors of the "We Are One" ministry will coordinate the Wednesday Night Prayer Service for the month of February.

Fellowship Gatherings
Group 3 of the "We Are One Ministry," led by Rev. Shelly Holness & Deacons John & Diane Turner, will meet on Monday, February 13th at 6:00 p.m. We will not meet on Monday, February 20th due to President Day Holiday. Please plan to come, eat, fellowship and plan for our month of March Wednesday Night Prayer from 7:-- - 8:00 p.m. Please give it your prayerful thought.
Friday Night ALIVE - Mentorship Night for Youth! ALL youth are invited to participate in one of FIVE Mentorship groups at CTBC, 1st & 3rd Friday of each month @ 7:00 p.m. #blessed & prepared!
CTBC provides wonderful youth mentoring support to youth of all ages on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month! On alternating Fridays we offer intergenerational fellowship, fun and activities for all. Join us at &:00 p.m. every Friday because if it's Friday...it's ALIVE! If you are led to work with youth please share your time as a Mentor (Fridays) or a Tutor (Mondays). We need you!
"Battlefield of the Mind - Discussion Group" is back by popular demand. Adults, please come out and enjoy this informal discussion group while youth attend their Mentorship groups. 1st & 3rd Friday of each month. The spiritual battlefield is the mind - learn how to win every battle the enemy launches against you!
HELP US PREPARE THE SANCTUARY - Please join us every Sunday in the sanctuary to prepare the atmosphere for worship service by praying. If you are led to join us for this special spiritual preparation please simply join us from 7:15 to 7:30 a.m. (Please arrive at 7:00 a.m. so that we may begin promptly at 7:15 a.m.)
DO YOU NEED PRAYER TODAY? Each Sunday, immediately following Worship Service, you are invited to receive special prayer in the conference room. Prayer changes things! Please stop by today and let us pray for and with you!

F FEB. 6th - HOMEWORK CAFE OPEN!!! The CTBC Scholars for Jesus Homework Cafe will reopen in response to your requests for academic support. Cafe hours are from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Your children must have homework or something to read in order to join us (please - no toys).
F FEB. 19th - The Church's Annual Business Meeting will be held immediately after worship service. (Only one service at 9:30 a.m.) All ministries, boards, clubs, and auxiliaries of the Church are asked to prepare in the usual fashion for the Annual Meeting. Annual report forms are in the Narthex. Return Annual Report Forms to church office by Friday, February 10, 2012.
F FEB. 19th - RECOGNITION of STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENT will be held, Sunday, February 12th will be absolutely the last opportunity this marking period for report cards and academic achievement to be given to Trustee Chapman in order to be recognized on the 19th.
The ADVISORY COUNCIL is looking for people to serve on the New BUILDING BY FAITH Committee. For more information please contact Deborah Smith, Dottie Mazon, Carolyn Scott or any member of the Advisory Council.
The NOMINATING COMMITTEE is in the process of selecting candidates to serve on the 2012 Nominating Committee. If you are interested please contact: Laurence Chambers, Willie May Samuel, Jacqueline Troy, Dawn Douglas or Lounell Green.
The 50th Anniversary 2012 CALENDARS are SOLD OUT. If you would like to purchase one sign up in the Narthex, so we will know how many more to order. The cost for the calendar is $15.00. Sunday, February 12th will be the deadline for ordering these calendars.
REPORT CARD Reminder! Trustee Gloria Chapman of Jeremiah 29:11 Ministry wants to remind all students to be sure to turn in (copies of) report cards as soon as they receive them.
GRADUATING SENIORS - If you will be graduating from high school or college this spring, please let Trustee Gloria Chapman, Mrs. Eleanor Boyd or Rev. Dr. Sheryl Barnes know in advance.
50th Anniversary "Round Up" - CTBC family, your help is needed as we endeavor to connect with former members, families and friends who have been involved in any way with our church over the past 50 years. We want them to join us as we celebrate this year so would you please spread the word to those whom you know. Tell them to send us their name, full address, phone number and email information so that we may include them on updates and invitations. They may send their information to the Church secretary with the notation: 50th Anniversary Round Up. Thank you!!!

CTBC Calendar Updates: Please submit updates or changes to Mrs. Eleanor J. Boyd by the 2nd Thursday of the month prior to publication.
All Announcements for the Sunday bulletin by any of the auxiliaries, boards or members must be in the church office no later than Thursday afternoon. After Thursday announcements can be left in the church clerk box or given to a clerk prior to the worship service.

All members should check WTNH-Channel 8 or WFSB-Channel 3 for information on cancellation of services or activities during inclement weather. Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, may be abbreviated on your television display as "Christian Tabernacle Baptist".
